Heads and Toes

I fell this week and got my first egg on my head. I was very brave and only cried a little. Now that the egg has gone down and there's just a bruise I am getting lots of sympathy. I can't even remember what happened!
I've started wearing the Crocs mum and dad got me back in January. They're still a little big but I just love them and want to put them on all the time. I picked them myself - mum and dad allowed me to pick between two different pairs and this is the colour I chose. Perhaps that's why I like them so much, perhaps it's just 'cause they're so comfy.

On a shopping trip

My shopping trolley is not quite as spacious as the ones mummy uses at the supermarket but it's much more fun!

Fun at the MacKinnons

I got to spend two whole days at the MacKinnon's house this week. Joshie and I were allowed to scribble all over the place with these chalks. Why can't I do that at home?
I had to be quick getting up onto the slide because Eepie was never too far behind!
Such a thrill!

Helping in the kitchen

I so love to help. Now when mummy or daddy are doing the dishes I drag over a chair and get up to lend a hand.
My job is to take the washed dishes off the rack, suck the bubbles off them and throw them back into the sink! (Mummy say this is your chance to see a bump picture too!)

Hooray for the Carrubbers Team!

Another video! Tabitha introduces us to the Carrubbers team in her own unique way. Unfortunately Cameron wasn't there though.

More food photos

Mummy normally works in the kitchen while I am eating so she can keep an eye on me but one day this week she didn't stay with me the whole time. I had great fun with my sausages and ketchup. The clean up process wasn't quite so enjoyable!
I'm learning to call Ethan by his real name (not Eepie!). I just love to learn people's names and go over them all the time. Sometimes I get confused and say, "I Mummy!" or, "I Daddy!" but they keep saying that I should say, "I Tabitha!" Anyway, I could tell Ethan wanted to share my drink!
He also wanted to share my cake (for Jonny and Julie's anniversary) and being the kind and generous person that I am I obliged! It's hard to feed someone else without opening your own mouth too!
Last week mummy was cooking for the team and she sent Rachel and me out to the garden to pick limes. They were yummy!

Getting creative

Look what mummy and I made - a play-doh plait! Well mummy made it and I wrecked it but it was good fun!

I love books

We got an exciting parcel this week. There were maltesers (I've no idea where they went - I didn't see any of them!) and two new books for me. You may know already that I just love books and when I'm in the mood to read there's little can be done to divert my attention to anything else. Daddy humoured me by reading through my new books. Thank you Melvin and Sharon!

The couch

You have to love couches! Just great for a giggle with Daddy...
...or a snuggle with mummy...
...and when you're just wiped out it's a great comfy place for a quick snooze!

As promised...

After my sleep on Saturday mummy got me all ready for the party. I was very proud of my special outfit and made lots of cute poses for all the people who made nice comments.
In fact, I think we all looked nice in skirts - though Daddy's was a special man's skirt called a kilt!
And then I got confused - am I Mexican or Scottish...or what?
We both found it very tiring - thank goodness for fingers to suck!

Jewellery

I just love to play with mummy's beads

Playing

Tia Margaret and I had great fun yesterday at the park. I can now confidently cross this shaky bridge by myself......and climb up the steps to the slide...
...but I'm still happy to have Tia Margaret guide me down - there's a rather tall drop from the bottom of the slide to the ground!
Eventually we had to go inside as it started raining. I really love baby Amelia but I can't wait 'til she wants to play ball with me. For now she's just happy to use my blankie!

My first haircut

Mummy took me to see a friend of hers yesterday. At first it was great fun - there was a doggy and some girls who were very nice to me. But then it was awful - they put me in a high chair and covered me in a cape and I couldn't get at my fingers to suck them. Then the lady sprayed cold water on my head and started robbing my hair!
Nothing could console me, not even a lolly...
...or mummy's 'shushing' - I liked my mullet!
Well, ok, eventually I realised my crying was pointless and I really do like lollies.
All's well that ends well. Mummy bought me some clips for my hair so that I look more girly and hopefully my beautiful locks will grow back again soon. I think mummy's hoping for the same as me after her hairdresser ignored her request to not take too much off the length of her hair!

Party Girl

Rachel is also here with the team from Scotland. It was her birthday this week and we had a little celebration. I wasn't so sure about the hats though!
We've got another party tonight to celebrate Mexican Independence. Mummy and I have got matching Mexican outfits. Here I am with Rachel and Ethan. Our Mexican friends were a little stiff! We'll post more photos tomorrow or Monday.
Helping Tio Leroy to hold the ladder steady for Jonny who was hanging decorations for the party. I love to help whenever I can.

New teddies

Matthew and LJ who are here at the moment kindly brought me this Puffin. Another birdie is always welcome! I love Puffin and am making sure that he gets plenty to drink as he adjusts to the altitude here.
Mark and Sarah brought me a teddy and I think Paddy is happy too because they have matching sweaters.
It's great fun to share my swing and I think they had a great time too!

A dream come true

A whole box of gorgeous sweeties but Daddy said they weren't all for me - I have to share them with the kids at club on Saturday mornings. I'm sure I would enjoy them so much more than anyone else!

Pre-bed routine

After my milk I usually try to avoid the toothbrush. Mummy or Daddy usually win though and then let me play with the toothbrush and then the fun starts when I hide to try and stall my bedtime! Sometimes though the urge to play peekaboo overtakes me - it's so much fun, especially when Daddy plays!

When the cat's away!

I made the most of daddy being out and mummy being upstairs and leaving the kitchen cupboard open. When mummy came downstairs she seemed to be in a real rush which made it even funnier (for me!)

Ready for a movie...

...well almost - I just need some popcorn.
I've got blankie, baby and balloon and watered down diet caffeine-free coke!

Tabitha singing and dancing

About 3 minutes of Tabitha singing along to Boowa and Kwala and then some of the Spanish songs she has been learning. In the middle she says "Rebekah!" That's her cousin's name who she had been speaking to earlier! Enjoy!

All dressed up

Well come on - what are we waiting for?

An eye for art

Look what I did! Mummy was working in the kitchen and I was bored so I found all these glue bottles and made a sculpture out of them!

Eating out!

This week Daddy and Mr Christian had lots of meetings to go to so mummy and Miss Robin decided to treat us all to Burger King. We were all starving and after we had finished eating we had a great time playing in the kids' area.
Then we went home and we were still hungry so we had some cheese and crackers. We had a great time. I'm afraid I cried lots when they had to say goodbye.
I love cheese and mummy found this great cheese that comes in squares and tastes great!

Reaching new heights

I'm definitely growing but there are still plenty of things that are out of reach for me. Though I'm not so slow - I figured out there's always a way to get what you want!
I was able to climb up and get mummy's rings but sadly they're too big - I can nearly fit one ring around 2 of my fingers!
I've found a new function for my potty - a step which gives me that little extra height to be able to reach more things and explore my surroundings even better.

At last!

On Tuesday we finally got some comfy seats to sit on. They passed my comfy test anyway and they're easily cleaned which has already proven to be very beneficial
- I don't mean to be so messy!

Out for the evening

Last Sunday after I woke up we got into the car and headed out. This time it was to Jonny and Julie's house. They've only just moved in. They cooked us some yummy food and I had great fun exploring all over their house.
Mr Jonathan stopped by and let me finish off his ice-cream - it was blue, just like the lolly I was given in church so once again my mouth was all blue!
