At the Park

Mummy went to see the doctor this week so daddy and I went to the park. I'm able to sit on the see-saw by myself now!

Oh-oh!

I just can't seem to keep myself clean in the garden!
Thankfully my cousins Rebekah and Hannah sent me some cool foamy soap for Christmas!

Whose bed?

Another new thing has arrived in the house but I'm beginning to doubt that the baby is ever going to arrive! I am claiming this bed for myself because I have slept in it many a time at the MacKinnon's house. I can even climb into it myself whereupon I say, "No baby, Tabitha's!"

Apple smile!

Enjoying a slice of apple.

Tea Party

This week Puffin and mummy and I had a tea party. Puffin is particularly partial to sausages!

The Shops

This week we went to the shops which mum and dad do as infrequently as possible because I get bored very quickly. This week though we fond this fab game in a sports shop. There were all these balls on the floor that I had to kick out of the way. Kept me amused for ages!

Christmas continued

We got another exciting parcel in the post this week! Mummy and Daddy kept it until I woke up and we had fun opening it together.
Great - a new dress! Some of my other dresses seem to be getting shorter...
Books! Fantastic! Lets read them now!
Mummy and Daddy got some cool things too which I decided to model. I have a thing about putting socks on my hands at the moment. Keeps them nice and warm though!
Thanks to the Johnstons for such a great gift. Can't believe we only just got it when you posted it mid-November!

Banana bread

Apparently I'm not eating the bananas fast enough so mummy and I were back at the baking this week. I was a little suspicious about how this effort would turn out...
...but it seemed nice enough raw so I figured it would be ok!

Aransa's birthday

Today we went to give Aransa a birthday present (that means it's just one month until my birthday!). I'm told it's more blessed to give than to receive but I was excited to get a party bag full of sweeties!

Early presents

We received a couple of Christmas parcels this week (Gary brought them down and it was so exciting we opened them in the street!).

I also found some puppets in the cupboard. I don't think I was supposed to get them until my birthday but I'm happy to enjoy them now!

Warm feet!

Mummy was given these fancy socks this week. One size fits all.
Just hope her feet aren't cold!

Cleaning Mexican Style

Yesterday I worked very hard with everyone else to clean the floor at church. It's not a small job. They pour lots of water all over the floor and then some people scrub it with brushes, others pull the water and the dirt off with squeegees and finally others dry the floor with cloths draped over brush ends. It makes for a very clean floor!
And I got nice and wet!

Life saver

It looks like a DVD player but Mummy and Daddy say this little thing is going to ease the misery of long journeys (for all of us). Thanks to Nanny and Granda and some of my Christmas money. My current favourites are Larry Boy, The Muppets and Shark Tale.

My friends

Eepie and Amelia came to play and I was able to show them my new kitchen. Amelia was so impressed she sat up for the first time!

Messy Play

I love the garden and the messier the better. Mummy and Daddy seemed a little shocked when they saw my hands but that's what happens when I play in the dirt!
Thankfully I was able to get cleaned up quite effortlessly.

A helping hand

Rather oddly Mummy decided to chop onions in the living room this week. I was glad to help until I realised they made me cry!
José stayed with us for a couple of nights this week and I helped him carry his case to his room. The rest of the time I bossed him around! He was very compliant and we played lots.
Helping Daddy to tidy the leaves from the garden.

Little Monkey

I love to swing. These days I particularly like to swing by my arms!

Exploing new territory

I do love helping mummy but when she asked me to put the clothes in the dryer I didn't realise that she didn't mean the clothes I was actually wearing!
But it was fun in there. You don't really want me to come out do you?

'Tisn't the season any more :(

Just when I thought Christmas was over I had another surprise this morning. In Mexico the 3 Wise Men pay a surprise visit to all the children while they are asleep on the 5th of January. When I got up this morning there was a surprise present on top of my shoes. I can draw pictures and then rub them out and start again.
But sadly many good things have to end and all the pretty decorations and lights have been put into boxes. Only 353 sleeps 'til Christmas!
While we're counting, I have now been in Mexico for half of my life!

A special swing

I really like this swing that baby Amelia lent us but it's a little too small for me. Mummy and Daddy say it isn't mine - it's for the new baby. Lots of things are starting to appear for this baby. I wonder how long we'll have it for...

My friends are back!

Maddie, Joshie, Eepie and baby Amelia are back in Mexico - they've been gone for ages. Baby Amelia will soon be running around with us all too. She's already interested in playing dolls.
They had some cool presents, like this Dora sticker book.
I got a Dora video for Christmas and I love it.
This is the perfect mobile for my bedroom. It's got lots of people from all over the world. Matches my bedroom theme perfectly!

Up at the lake

On Tuesday we went to a new park. I loved it - there was a lake with lots of different birds...
...the coolest play frame with lots of slides
I went down this one a few times and then I found the other one...
...it was like a tunnel and very exciting!

Daddy brought a plane
It was just about windy enough to get it off the ground for a very short time
There were horses...
...and I even got to touch the Tabitha sized one but I was too scared to get on.
Maybe next time!

We got post!

Something VERY exciting happened this week - we got a parcel! We opened it together because we were all very excited. There was lots of pretty paper inside...
...and one of the parcels had my name on it. There was a parcel for mummy and daddy and one for the new baby!
Look what was inside - a fishing rod for the bath. The fish stick to the worm and then I can wind them in. I also got animal snap cards. I love parcels!
Thank you to our home group from Carrubbers!
So can I have a bath now then? I went and got the tub all by myself - I'd really like a bath now...peeeeease!

Starbucks

A special holiday treat - a trip to Starbucks.
I love coffee and Daddy got me my own Tabitha sized cup!
What's my personal drink?
As much of mummy and daddy's as they let me share!

Falling leaves...in January!

Mummy and I went playing in the crunchy leaves in front of our house this week. It was fun but sadly someone swept them up a couple of days later. The leaves are especially crunchy because it's so dry but it's very cold at the moment at night and in the morning so we have to put on lots of clothes!
