Playing at home

I've recently been introduced to the fun of tenting. I know Aunty Emma and Uncle Renato enjoy it and Nanny and Granda bought a tent recently for their holidays but I never really saw the appeal. I've been converted - it really is great fun!
Tents in the house are one thing though. When we went over to Robin and Bebe's house I had great fun in their garden and they had a much better tent which they have so kindly given us for our garden. I can't wait 'til Dadddy puts it up!
Back in the house mummy caught me pushing Baby around on my cart.
I think Baby liked it, except when she fell off!

Ready for work

Now that I can hold a pen or pencil I'm thinking of an office position!
Here I am getting some work experience with Tia Colleen in her office. I love to visit her - she has lots of cool things and lets me play with them.

Miguel and Guille

This is Guille who gave me horrible medicine that made my tummy better. Miguel is her husband and he's very funny. They give me bread with lots of sugar on it - one of my favourites!
One day we went to their house and they took us to this cool place for tacos in the middle of the street!
We also got milkshakes with real fruit in them. Normally I don't like fruit but these were nice!
Then Daddy paid 1 peso (5p!) and I got to ride an ice-cream van.
Finally we went back to their house on a bicycle taxi which was great fun.
I giggled lots and didn't want to get off.

Darío

This is my friend Darío from church. He's there on Saturday and Sundays like me. I love playing with him.

Job Complete!

A short time ago this tree in our back garden had leaves. It doesn't any more and not because it's Autumn - but because Daddy got a saw! Still, it was great fun to help him and I'll post a picture when it's full of leaves again.

Sleeping Beauty

It's not fair. Baby and I didn't know mummy was taking this picture or we would have smiled!

Apologies from mummy!

Mummy and I have been very busy today (Sunday) and so we weren't able to update the blog. Please check back later because we'll work on it tomorrow. We've got some great photos to show you...as always!

Baby

I love my baby. I often walk around with her and pat her back but sometimes she's thirsty so I have to give her juice...
...funny, isn't it?
She likes yoghurt too.
One for baby...
...one for mummy!
Now it's time for bed but getting her clothes off is quite tricky...

Pig Skin

You may know it better as 'Pork Scratchings' but I had it for the first time on Saturday and I loved it (I didn't spy any hairs!). I also love tortillas but mummy and daddy always seem to want to give me meat and yucky vegetables too.

Macaroni Cheese

I like Macaroni Cheese. I like that I can eat it with a fork...
...but it's hard not to get it all over my mouth!
The best thing about it is that after I'm full up I squish it between my fingers - it makes a great noise, it's messy and it feels great!

Miguel

This is my friend Miguel from church. I like him 'cause he lets me be in charge...like here when I asked him for his ball...
...he gave it to me but then he got some sweeties so I had to make sure and get some of those too.
Last week a 5 year old boy told mummy he was going to marry me. Mummy said he would have to join the queue (line) because he wasn't the only contender. Miguel's Daddy says that Miguel is going to marry me...I've decided that he has generosity in his favour but I've also decided to write my list of pre-requisites for contenders!

I love presents!

There is a team here from N. Ireland and they brought me some presents in a cool princess castle bag. A girl called Laura who heard Daddy talk about Mexico in her church sent me some really cool clothes with her teacher who is on the team. Thank you Laura!
I also got a really cool Noah's Ark book...which I can read upside down!

Why didn't I try this before?

I enjoy drawing so much that I make sure and practice any time I find a pen or a pencil. I might be left handed...
...or maybe I right handed. I haven't decided yet!
Pens are better because they make marks anywhere - on my hand...
...on the fridge...
...on the door frame...
...on the wall - bit by bit I'm leaving my mark all over the place! I happen to think it's rather creative but I seem to keep running into trouble when I get spotted.

Baby Amelia

Last Sunday Mummy and Daddy went to see Maddie, Joshie and Eepie's brand new baby sister, Amelia in hospital. They didn't take me!
Mummy took me to her house to see her and I was very gentle with her. A real live baby!
I patted her tummy and said, "ssshhh!" That's what you do with babies!

Cuddles

Watching a DVD and enjoying cuddles with mummy at the same time.

Helping again

This week Daddy decided to trim our tree!
I helped to clean up the branches...
...and then Hannah played on the slide with me.

Strange practices

I've decided that it's a lot of fun to grab towels and trail them around behind me.
Others find it strange!

No stopping me

How did I get up here? I climbed on the chair and then onto the table. Quite easily. It seems to make mummy annoyed but it's worth it if I find lollies!

Thursday evening

We went over to Tio Leroy and Tia Kay's house. We were celebrating different things with the missionaries including Mummy's birthday. Tio Leroy made the most amazing ice cream... ...we made an amazing mess!
I like Ethan - I think he likes me too!

Yuk!

I have a bad feeling about this stuff. Mummy painted some of it on my sucky fingers and it tasted yucky!

Is this heaven?

We had to buy some sweeties last week so we went to the coolest of places. Sweeties everywhere! Outside...
...and inside. Sweets of every variety and lots with chilli inside! Mummy and Daddy say that even with all this variety they can't get some of their favourites - how fussy can you be? Mind you, I didn't see any jelly tots...

Aww!

Don't you love this dress that Nanny sent me?!

Remember these?

Do you remember these glasses. I still love them!
These days I especially love playing peek-a-boo with them
I find it very funny!
