Week in one

I decided to give painting a go. Not sure I can be bothered - it was more fun to splash the water everywhere.
Found a comfy seat for TV viewing
This iguana is at church most Sundays with his family. At last I was wearing long sleeves so I was delighted to be allowed to hold him.

Keeping in shape

I currently have two swimming techniques: head under the water with direction or head above the water without movement. I'm working on combining the two...

Meanwhile Oscar shows that he can do the shape thing too... and very pleased with himself he is!

Snow?

Snow in Mexico in July?
No, of course not but we had a lot of fun pretending.
Oh, and enjoy this picture of Oscar, he doesn't feature much this week!

Crafty

This week we did lots of cool crafts. I finished this bag which we started ages ago (and you know how I love fashion!)...
I made this cool sand rocket...
and then used to left-over sand to make a shape which mummy decided looked like a sled...
then I made a tiara...
...but I'm not sure about it...

VBS

This week we went to church a lot more than usual. It was a lot of fun and there were lots and lots of kids there. Can you see me?
My friends from next door went too
There was lots to keep us busy
and plenty to keep us quiet

Light as a feather

We went to the theatre for the first time today. Arantza was ballet dancing but initially I had some difficulties with the seating arrangements.

A man's man

I prefer to play ball with men and Alex seems game.
These are my 'tocayos'. That means they are called Oscar too. It's like a fun Oscar club.

Party

I'll be fine for getting to the party
Traditionally the birthday person takes a bite out of their cake. Typically someone's there to make sure it's a big one!
As it's not my birthday I've decided to be a lot more civilized with Tio Leroy's help.

Abstract art

Waves at the beach...in case you were unsure.

Bubbles

We had some fun with bubbles this week. First of all they were contained...
but then they got loose
Either he's reaching for a bubble up high or he's trying to get his hands on an airplane

Water boy

I love water and despite mummy's reaction I was not at all perturbed by the poo everywhere when I was dunked into this bucket to rinse off.
I had so much fun I am tempted to repeat the action...
...almost as much fun as getting wet and dirty in the puddles.

Friends

Some may talk of the rose between two thorns...

'Tis the season...

It's birthday season in our family with four birthdays in less than a week! Mummy's is first so we helped her make a cake.
(We interrupt this broadcast...We just heard that that is now five birthdays. Our newest cousin Tom just arrived and managed to avoid all the other birthdays to get his own spot on the 5th
(so that's the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th all gone!).
Yay for baby Tom and yay for Aunty Caroline. We love you already!)
Tabitha, being the writer, got to decorate...
...but I thought I could have done just as good a job of the sprinkles...
Anyway, we all got to blow out the candles.
Then on Saturday, Rebekah's birthday we had another celebration with more cake!
Here's mummy with some of the friends who enjoyed a nontraditional birthday meal of pigskin, cactus, sausage and chilli, beans and tortillas.

Fun fun fun

Another day of fun peeking through holes...
...copying those older...
...flinging myself with utter abandon into the ball pit...
...rescuing trucks from near disaster...
...shopping and ringing the produce through the till.

Rains

With the rainy season upon us this little machine is certainly not going to get dusty.
It's time I was able to help out.
