A very special party

Yesterday was a momentous day. I finally decided that using the potty was probably no big deal a completely surprised mummy by putting it to use. Clever mummy was all prepared and I am finally enjoying the potty sweeties.
Well stopping at nothing I surprised her again today by filling it with something different... perhaps you can guess. Anyway, Miss Robin, who is full of good ideas, said that my success warranted a party. So we got to work.
Modified party hats.
Proud friends
Nappy/Diaper heads!
Amelia enjoys the silly string (like all of us!)
My poo poo cup cakes
It's a proud moment for me!
Party games...
and a piñata of course. Have you spotted the theme?
All 6 of us!

Little Helper

Helping mummy to make up bags of sweets for a meeting.

For Nanny!

Sporting our matching t-shirts from Nanny.

Looking up

If I keep my head like this I won't get as much puke on the carpet!

Colour change

I'm not too hot on my colours yet but we did a really cool things this week. We took 2 different colours of jelly, mushed them together and made a new colour! How does that happen?

Another party

This week we had a fun get together with all the missionaries. Amelia and I are already quite good friends
I'll chew your bib and you can chew my soother - that's what friendship is all about.
Meanwhile out back the big kids are taking turns putting Tabitha and then Ethan to sleep on the swing seat.

Tio Leroy

What is it with the head gear this week?
Getting cool with Tio Leroy
OK, I won't tell your secret but make it quick - your moustache is tickling me!

Noche Mexicana

On the night before Independence Day here in Mexico there are parties everywhere. I got a Mexican but he's perhaps a little old for me!
Hey, what's wrong with my own hair?!

Moving on

Flying? Not without help...
Standing? Not really...
But with my walker I'll soon be getting around. Thanks Aunty Caroline and Uncle Simon!
Here's a little video but as you can see I've not quite got the hang of it yet.
I'd rather chew mummy's hand.

Barney

This is Barney. He's been to our house a few times now and he's sticking around for a bit.
We like him!

Fiesta

It's Mexican Independence Day soon so we had a party at Aranza's house.
The best bit was the spontaneous dancing to the mariachi music.
My first hit at a piñata...but princesses?
Are there any sweets left for me?
Hmmm. Party food but not a cocktail sausage or Rice Krispie bun in sight.
I like the party food though. But then I am Mexican!
Sadly the party had to end and we all walked home.

Potty training?

If I didn't need nappies then we couldn't have fun in the boxes!

Ice cream

That looks so good...
It is so good! I'm sure I could eat a whole one.
No such joy. I get the fruit sock!

Cheese

Usually I don't get to go to the supermarket with mummy. Something to do with stress she says. But last week Oscar and I both got to go and I got to choose a special treat for being good!
Thankfully that mouse isn't around to eat my cheese. I need it as a prop to know what colour I'm going to use...and then it's mine for the eating.

'Tibity' time

This week we did lots of cool things...like make this Dora shaker...
Spray painting (perhaps we need to thicken the paint!)
Feeding the hummingbirds for the first time in months. I hope they come back to us.
Cornflour + water = a mess + lots of fun
Cornflour + colour + a couple of other things...
= a colourful mess
...for both mummy and me!
A green volcano

Ice cream picnic

Poor Oscar has to eat the plate while he rest of have ice cream and all kinds of lovely toppings!

4 in the bed

Tabitha's favourite game is playing 'night-night' so we all joined in.
