What did we get up to?

Little cherubs...
A climber like his sister
Chillin' in Daddy's hammock chair
Sampling some of the fruit of our labour before enjoying salad with our dinner...

Hopeful

Things are developing under the tree and it's looking promising...
I hope there's something for me too...

Oranges are in season

8 kilos of oranges for just under £1 ($1.50). Now that's a bargain but a lot of eating...

Hair

I know I'm Mexican but I think I'm needing a haircut
Snacks on the table but I actually quite enjoyed the feel of the clippers
and Daddy did a great job!

Princess

I'm a princess. I'm a musical princess.
I don't have an accordion but I can improvise!

My first acting experience

Tonight I became Mary for a while. Joseph and I went on a long, tiring journey.
Eventually my baby was born. Here's baby Jesus.
I took my role very seriously and was not one bit confused about my role. Still a little confused about the story in places but here we are after the event recounting what happened.

Outing

Where are we off to today?

Pony Girl

Tuesday was very exciting because we decided to go to a safari park. We called in the morning and were told the park would be open from 12pm. So we arrived a little later but the park was closed and had been for a few days as a tiger had escaped! There was no hope of the park opening and we were disappointed and annoyed. Not as much as a group of 150 school kids who had been waiting since 8am!
After a picnic lunch we went back to a fair we had seen on the way. It turned out to be a farmers' market and we had a great time!

My first pony ride! I got a special hat for the occasion... just like Aunty Emma's!
Concentrating very hard.
Since Oscar puked on our camera we don't have any sound but the visual still works...

More Christmas

On Sunday we went to help Tia Margaret put up her tree.
Well Daddy helped. The rest of us were involved in damage attempt and damage limitation...
I can't wait to get into these boxes.
Daddy loves Nativity sets. This one is from Haiti. There are a lot of characters but there's definitely a Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus!
Aranza has a musical, dancing Christmas tree which had me laughing and dancing along.

Weetabix

Mummy was very excited to find Weetabix here. I'm the only one allowed to eat it as she says it's too expensive (probably the same price as at home!) but I love it!

Snowman

I'm still not sure what it is I'm making...
A snowman. What's snow?
I think he needs ears.

Hockey of sorts

While Tabitha juggles I just enjoy exploring the mess she made.

X Factor

Saturday means X Factor. I like to follow online.
I'm quite sure I have the X factor whatever that is...

Sales

Yesterday we went with Aranza and her mummy to a factory shop where the clothes were half price. We decided we wanted these trousers. Our mummies didn't agree but wait 'til you see my gorgeous Christmas dress!

O Christmas Tree

When mummy saw this empty spool at Tia Margaret's house it gave her an idea...
And now I have my very own Christmas tree!

Thanksgiving

Last week we all got together again.
In Mexico you always give the ladies a kiss on the cheek when you say hello (oops, missed!).
A big meal...for which we were very thankful. Everyone seemed thankful for lots of things.
Now we're talking... real boys toys!

Exploring

I think I found a spot I haven't been into yet.

Blankie

Sadly we left one half of my blankie at the airport last week. It takes an awfully long time to wash and dry blankie so I was glad to finally get it out of the dryer.
I'm sure it's stressful for us both.

Two toothbrushes

I hate to think how much work this will be when I have my full complement of teeth.

My week...

Well, my hair keeps on growing and is beginning to get a little out of control.
Soon be time for haircut number 2!

A flying visit

My bed got moved into Oscar's room and I was back on the airbed again!
Here's why - Aunty Emma showed up!
We went out for tacos and I ate more tortillas than anyone - I love them!
All full up.

Duet

Tabitha knows how to turn the piano on so we spend many a happy moment playing together. She always seems to get the chair though!

Pyramids

How to feel very small!
On top of the world with Daddy...
and Aunty Emma.
Last time I was here I was inside mummy's tummy!
Shopping for hats is not really my thing but I enjoy the company.

Hats

I think I got my hat-liking gene from Aunty Emma!

Cutting teeth

Look what popped out - another tooth - just when I was beginning to despair of ever seeing any more
So I think I'm ready to help myself to the contents of the fridge with the help of my sister who opens the door for me!

Crusty

3 for 1 pizza night and all I get is the crust.
And to make things worse they put the left overs in the freezer.

Still busy

Counting the dots on the page and finding the right number of counters to match.
Taxing stuff!
4 sessions of activities to make lovely angels for Nonnie and Nanny's Christmas trees.
Notice Daddy's work in progress in the background. He's carving 3 Wise Men out of some logs he cut off our tree!
